Laura-Rose Cooke travelled to Slovenia to compete for England in the Salamunov Memorial 2018. She was one of six girls split into two teams chosen to represent England. England were competing against teams from Austria, Croatia,Egypt,Germany, Hungary and Slovenia. On Friday 19 October ,the All Around competition took place with Laura having an awesome competition leading England A to the team title and Laura taking the individual all around gold title with an impressive score of 50.75. The All Around competition was also qualifications for individual apparatus finals on the saturday and sunday. Laura was the only English gymnast to qualify for all four finals, vault, uneven bars, beam and floor. On the saturday, Laura added to her medal haul by taking gold on vault and silver on bars. On the sunday, Laura was last to go as she was the top qualifier. She held her nerve on beam to pick up another gold medal and finished on floor with a very strong routine claiming the silver medal. Laura returned from Slovenia with three individual gold, two silvers and the team trophy, the most decorated gymnast at the competition.
